Mavi Garcia wins the Women’s Brittany Classic, Gladys Verhulst finishes 5th

Mavi Garcia (UAE Team Emirates) was finally rewarded for her efforts with a first World Tour victory. The reigning Spanish champion, Margarita Victo Garcia Canellas of her full name, won the 24th edition of the Bretagne Classic (ex-Grand Prix de Plouay) feminine, Saturday, after a very short and little disputed sprint against the Dutch Amber Kraak (Jumbo-Visma).
The Australian Grace Brown (FDJ-Nouvelle Aquitaine-Futuroscope) finished third at 5”, while three French women joined the top 10 after having been able to believe in victory for a long time.
