Telegram channel Mash reportsthat the Crimean authorities are going to nationalize the hotel in Yalta, owned by People’s Artist Sofia Rotaru.
According to the channel, the “cozy club hotel on the Yalta embankment” owned by the singer has stopped accepting guests since 2019 “due to problems with paperwork,” since “according to the documents, this is not a hotel, but a five-story barn with a basement.” The publication also states that in 2022, Rotaru allegedly tried to preserve this property and only “pretended to get rid of property in Russia.” However, now, as stated, the owner agrees to sell the hotel and is restoring contacts with those who were previously interested in the lot.
“The public price tag for the hotel is still €25 million, but bargaining has appeared,” reports Mash.
