From December 5 on the TV channel “Russia” – the premiere of the new, 22nd season of the detective series-andXand “Secrets of the Investigation”. The most charming, insightful and uncompromising investigator in the country once again fearlessly exposes those who break the law. And although the criminals are becoming more and more dodgy, Shvetsova and her team of professionals will not leave them a single chance to escape punishment! Maria Shvetsova (Anna Kovalchuk) and operatives led by the head of the “killer” department Korablev (Igor Nikolaev) are waiting for new high-profile cases. And again, Maria Sergeevna will work in close-knit tandem with her friend – investigator Lyudmila Kolonkova (Olga Pavlovets). This time they have to face mysterious crimes with a “double bottom”: to look for a serial killer whose victims are in no way connected with each other; investigate a street attack on a young man that leads to a string of strange deaths; delve into the details of the robbery of a harmless old woman, gradually overgrown with sinister evidence … Each investigation is a real detective novel in which human passions and vices rage! Serious passions boil in the personal lives of the heroes. Korablev’s life will completely change after the news of the birth of a child. Kolonkova will have an “official” romance. And Shvetsova will seriously think about whether it is worth destroying relations with a loved one who has made a mistake. Will she be able to forgive him and rekindle feelings? And who will still be given a second chance – ex-husband Dmitry Lugansky (Miroslav Malich) or Major Oleg Platonov (Aleksey Komashko)?

Anna Kovalchuk: “My heroine Maria Sergeevna has not hardened over the years, but, perhaps, has become even more straightforward and tough. Because she understands the situation even faster now, easily reading people, their true desires, sees their “second” face. And he moves forward without wasting a second on compromises… All the crimes that the characters investigate in the new season reflect our reality – what is happening around us. Crimes are getting more inventive, and I’m always interested in diving into something new. In addition, the season will be very intense in terms of the personal relationships of my character. And it ends so unexpectedly for Maria Sergeyevna that now I myself am waiting for the continuation to find out how everything will be resolved with her further. The exciting script of each episode, the curious balance between strong operatives and sincere female investigators, well-coordinated work on the set of a positive team in which there is not a single random person – all this allows “Secrets of the Investigation” to remain afloat for many years, and for those who it creates, the desire and interest to work further remains.

The director of the 22nd season was Maxim Demchenko (The Ferry Woman, Dr. Richter. Continuation, The Key to All Doors, Secrets of the Investigation): “The script for the new season has a lot of interesting detective moves that were interesting to play. But the authors did not always have an accurate understanding of the characters. And we rebuilt, rewrote, reworked something in the script, ensuring that the characters became the way the audience loves and knows them. It wasn’t easy! But on the set there was an incredible unity, we all worked, as they say, in perfect harmony. As a director, it was important for me to tell the stories written in the new season of “Secrets of the Investigation” so that they look modern, alive, real and resonate with the audience. They are waiting, moreover, a lot of acting discoveries! And, of course, we tried to preserve the unique St. Petersburg style of the project, the subtle humor inherent in the characters, and the warmth of the soul, thanks to which “Secrets of the Investigation” entered every home. His characters really became close and dear to the audience. And if Maria Sergeevna appears on the screen again, then life goes on, everything will be fine!
