“I am amazed by the questions about when the money for tickets will be returned”
Rock poet Margarita Pushkina, whose songs and poems form the golden repertoire of the groups “Aria”, “Kipelov” and other performers who have repeatedly performed on the stage of “Crocus”, was shocked by the news about the intention of the owners of the site to restore it on the site of the burned ruins: “ I couldn’t believe my eyes when I read about it.” “And, of course, my heart hurts,” the poetess summarized her condition.
Ms. Pushkina explained in a conversation with ZD that such an idea (about restoring the hall in its original place) is beyond her ideas “about the normal perception of things, elementary human ethics.” “How do they imagine it? – the poetess argues. — They will rebuild it on the blood, on the bones of the dead, and which of the artists will perform there? What kind of audience will come to listen to them, sing and dance? This is some kind of horror!”
Margarita reacted to the tragedy in Crocus City Hall on social networks, like her colleagues, with grief, sadness, condolences to the victims, dedicated a new composition and video clip “Keeper of Light” by the group “Kipelov” to the victims, filmed against the backdrop of an abandoned and dilapidated temple. She also sympathizes with the musicians of the Picnic group, who lost their colleague, assistant director of the group Ekaterina Kushner, in that hell – she did not find a way out and was crushed by debris during a roof collapse due to a terrible fire.
“Edmund Shklyarsky (group leader. — Approx. “ZD”) is a very creative and deeply vulnerable person,” explains Margarita, “he passes through every, even insignificant, detail as an event on a universal scale, but here there is such a misfortune and tragedy! I can’t even imagine his condition now.”
In addition to the shock of the news of the restoration of the concert hall, the rock poetess’s indignation is also caused by reproaches to the Picnic musicians: “They say they didn’t rush to save their fans! How can you say this?! The artists were in the dressing room (when terrorists burst into the hall. – “ZD”). What could and should they have done – rush with their guitars at the ready at the shooters?”
“Questions about how and where they will return money for concert tickets” also remain beyond her understanding. “I just don’t understand these people,” Margarita reflects. — Obviously, they didn’t give the least for a ticket to Crocus. Such a tragedy happened. Leave these tickets in your life archive as a reminder and testimony of what you experienced…”
Despite the fact that her favorites, colleagues and wards – “Aria” and “Kipelov” – have repeatedly performed at Crocus, Pushkina admits that she has never been to their concerts there. She says: “I didn’t like this hall. I was there only once, when the Omega band (legends of Hungarian rock, their concert at Crocus took place on May 30, 2013) came to us for the first time. – “ZD”), I entered the hall, and I was literally covered with such very heavy, dark and negative energy. ABOUT! – I thought. “Not my place!”
In order to understand what happened to her, Margarita, having somehow survived the concert of the cult rock Hungarians in energetic torment, plunged into archival excavations of Moscow studies and found out that this entire trade, exhibition and concert complex, it turns out, was rebuilt on the site of an abandoned cemetery: “ Then I realized where all this heavy energy was coming from, I am a very sensitive person to such things.”
“And if now in the same place where so much blood was shed and people died a terrible death, a concert venue for entertainment is restored, then this, of course, will be unheard of blasphemy,” Margarita Pushkina explains her position and adds: “It seems to me that and Muslim Magomayev, after whom the hall is named, would agree with me, since he was not only a great man, but also very subtle, sensitive and fair. Such a “restoration” would be, to put it mildly, a clumsy service to his memory.”
The poetess, so sensitive to “dark energy” and “human ethics,” believes that a new site should be built “somewhere else,” and a “small quiet square with a memorial” should be laid out at the site of the tragedy.
