Singer Alexander Malinin decided to break the silence and spoke about SVO
Singer Alexander Malinin, who has not yet clearly expressed his position regarding the special operation, decided to break his silence and made a big statement.
The singer of romances and People’s Artist of Ukraine published a long post on the social network. He said that he took the military oath, served in the army and was ready to go defend the Motherland if necessary. The singer also added that he permanently resides in Moscow.
Malinin noted that recently a lot of false information discrediting him has appeared on the Internet.
The singer also called rumors about his emigration a lie. He noted that in 2023, as part of an international project, he recorded two albums of the most popular Ukrainian songs, among which was the song of the Sich Riflemen, which later became the anthem of the nationalists, which the artist, of course, could not have known about. And after 2014 he did not perform it.
Earlier it was reported that deputies in Saratov demanded that Malinin’s concert be canceled because of his position on the SVO. Then they called him a coward. But the performance still took place.
