Magnitogorsk will host a tournament with the participation of the best Russian figure skaters

The competitions of the All-Russian Spartakiad of the strongest athletes in winter sports are planned to be held in February 2024. This is reported by TASS with reference to the head of the Russian Figure Skating Federation Alexander Kogan.
According to the publication, the Winter Sports Games will be held simultaneously in five regions of the country. More than 2.5 thousand of the strongest athletes of Russia are expected to participate. The disciplines declared at the tournament correspond to the program of the 2026 Winter Olympic Games.
According to Alexander Kogan, figure skaters will compete in Magnitogorsk as part of the Spartakiad. The arena “Metallurg” has been preliminarily chosen as the venue.
Recall that in July Magnitogorsk will host international competitions – rally “Silk Way”. The distance will be held for the first time in the Chelyabinsk region. Near the city of metallurgists, the organizing committee will prepare a difficult race track for the crews.
