Magnitogorsk hockey player called up to the Russian national team

Metallurg system defender Alexander Siryatsky, together with the U18 national team, will take part in the Future Cup tournament.
The competition will take place in February in Minsk. The matches will also include the Russian U17 team and the national teams of Belarus (U20) and Kazakhstan. The inclusion of the Magnitogorsk hockey player in the squad was reported by the press service of Metallurg. They noted that Siryatsky is a graduate of the Magnitogorsk hockey school. The 17-year-old athlete is spending his debut season for the Steel Foxes in the MHL. However, he has already managed to play two matches with Metallurg.
Let us note that the compositions of the two Russian teams were also published by the FHR press service. So, in addition to Siryatsky, the national teams included the Polar Bears players – Ivan Urychev (in the U17 team), Stepan Gorbunov and Leonid Kolodiy (both in the U18).
It is known that both teams have already gone to Novogorsk for a training camp. Athletes will have to undergo an in-depth medical examination, train on the ice, in the gym and games room, and also play a control match among themselves.
