On February 4, a children’s aikido festival will be held for the first time in Lysva (wrestling and sambo hall, Ordzhonikidze street, 49).
A striking feature of children’s aikido festivals in the Perm region is the unification of various target audiences: children of all ages together with their parents, the national aikido team of the Perm region, aikido masters, as well as representatives of sports clubs and aikido federations of Perm, the Perm region and other regions. This is a unique opportunity for regional athletes to meet high-level masters.
Guests of the festival will be aikido masters from St. Petersburg, Izhevsk, Perm and the cities of the Kama region, children and parents of young athletes, as well as members of sports clubs and federations, the regional national team, and representatives of the city administration.
The Children’s Aikido Festival in Lysva will be held as part of the social project “Aikido for Children. Reboot”, supported by the Presidential Grants Fund in 2023.
The “Aikido for Children” project has been continuously implemented in the Perm region since 2018. More than 500 children from families from various social categories study aikido for free. During the implementation of the project, infrastructure was created for free classes in Perm, Dobryanka, Lysva, Vereshchagino, Mendeleevo, the village of Novye Lyady, Kultaevo, Yugo-Kamsk, as well as in two branches of the Children’s Assistance Center and the specialized institution “Ural Compound”. A wide range of family, patriotic and sports and leisure events made it possible to create unique traditions of Perm aikido.
The organizers of the children’s aikido festival in Lysva will be the aikido club “Dynasty” and the Aikido Association of the Perm Territory.
