Annual inflation slowed down in most regions in November, according to information and analytical materials Central Bank. The annual increase in prices for food products in all federal districts was lower than in October, mainly due to prices for food products of animal origin. Also, the slowdown in the growth of prices for non-food durables, primarily for cars, continued. At the same time, the dynamics of prices for services varied greatly from region to region, especially for air travel and tour packages abroad.

The Magadan, Tyumen regions and Buryatia became the leaders in terms of price growth slowdown. Price growth was recorded in six regions, in five it was higher than in Russia as a whole (11.98%). Inflation there accelerated due to a reduction in the supply of a number of goods, an increase in producers’ costs and an increase in demand for some services.
