A terrier rescued from the garbage in St. Petersburg received a name and owner
A Yorkshire terrier rescued from the trash in St. Petersburg almost two weeks ago has received a name and a caring owner. Brulik will live with Natalya – the woman already has extensive experience in rescuing animals. More on this on Friday. On February 2, the integrated waste management company “Autopark No. 1 Spetstrans Chat” reported on its Telegram channel.
The company said that the new owner has already sent all the dog’s tests to a nutritionist and bought all the necessary medications. Brulik couldn’t imagine a better family, the message emphasizes.
The dog was found on January 20 at a waste processing plant in Obukhovo in compressed city waste. Veterinarians discovered a number of serious health problems in the dog: a severely enlarged liver, broken ribs, and heart failure was diagnosed. It took surgery under anesthesia and 24-hour veterinary supervision.
Meanwhile, animal rights activists are calling on pet owners to increased vigilance. Information has emerged that pink spots have been spotted on the snow in several areas of Moscow – this may be a substance poisonous to pets, which can kill both homeless people and pets during a walk.
