Lovozero athletes won several awards at competitions in Anadyr

Anadyr hosted the Beringian Games, an important part of the large Bering Strait festival. Athletes from the Lovozero district of the Murmansk region won silver and bronze medals, the government reports.
The Beringian Games have more than 30 years of international history, but only for the second year, Russian regions that are part of the Arctic zone participate in it: the Murmansk and Arkhangelsk regions, the Republics of Sakha, Karelia, Komi and others.
Athletes compete in the disciplines of the northern all-around in eight types of programs: “Knee jump”, “Triple national jump”, “Kick with two legs” and so on.
The Kola Polar region was represented by a team from the Lovozero region, which included four people.
Artem Peresypkin won silver in the One-Hand Reach category, and Milena Dibirova came third in the Stick Pull category.
