Zaitsev pointed out that walking with bare ankles provokes hypothermia of the ankle joints, which leads to inflammatory diseases of the nasal cavity.
“A person is not on the street for 5-10 minutes, it takes, conventionally, an hour to get to school or work, and an hour back. Usually, [на переохлаждение] the lower turbinates and nasopharynx react,” he noted.
The doctor added that it threatens with vasomotor rhinitis. If he walks with bare ankles for 9-11 years, then his inflammation of the nasopharynx may worsen and adenoids grow.
Vasomotor rhinitis, in turn, leads to inflammation of the nasal mucosa, sinuses and posterior pharyngeal wall.
