British actor Jake Abraham has died at the age of 56 from cancer, reports the Daily Mail. Abraham was best known for his role as a petty criminal in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, directed by Guy Ritchie.
According to the publication, in July 2023 he was diagnosed with prostate cancer. The disease progressed rapidly, tumors began to form in the spine, hips and bladder. Due to the late stage of the disease, doctors were unable to save his life.
The actor was born in 1967 in Liverpool. During his career, he starred in more than 30 films, including “Sharpe’s Gold” (1995), “Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels” (1998), “Formula 51” (2001), “Bonebreaker” (2001), “The Avenger’s Tragedy” “(2002), the TV series “A Purely English Murder” (1984-2010).
