Lithuania protested to Russia’s charge d’affaires. It is connected with the fact that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation has put republican politicians on the wanted list. This was announced on Wednesday, February 14, by the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Let us remind you that on February 13, the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs added politicians from the Baltic countries to its wanted database. Included: Latvian Finance Minister Arvils AsheradensMinister of Culture of Lithuania Simon KairisPrime Minister of Estonia Kaya Callas and Secretary of State Taimar Peterkop, Mayor of the Polish city of Walbrzych Roman SzelemeyDirector of the Institute of National Remembrance of Poland Karol Nawrocki and Deputy Minister of State Assets of the Republic Karol Rabenda.

The reason for the search was the destruction in the states of monuments erected in memory of Soviet soldiers.
