Information about the injured in Makiivka servicemen from the Samara region will not be posted publicly. About it informs the regional government with reference to the regional military commissar Alexei Vdovin. According to him, if the names of the dead become known, foreign intelligence services may begin to conduct “information activities” in relation to their relatives.
“Lists will not be published. Firstly, this is personal data, and secondly, this, of course, is work for foreign intelligence services, to identify and conduct information activities regarding relatives of military personnel, which is strictly prohibited, ”Aleksey Vdovin is quoted in the message.
According to the regional authorities with reference to the military commissariat of the region, all information in the military commissariats is provided personally to members of the families of the military. This happens when the relatives and friends of the fighters contact. This information is provided to the indicated persons by employees of the military commissariat, Alexey Vdovin added.
On New Year’s Eve, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked a school building in the city of Makeevka in the DPR with HIMARS missiles. It housed a Russian military unit. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported 89 dead. The governor of the Samara region, Dmitry Azarov, said that among the victims there are soldiers from the region. Two boards with the wounded have already arrived in the Samara region. They will continue treatment at a local hospital. Currently, another 15 fighters from the region remain in a hospital in Rostov-on-Don.
