As before, gilded portraits of famous Russian hierarchs headed by Patriarch Kirill, as well as a colorful image of Metropolitan Pavel (Lebed), hang in a conspicuous place in Nina’s office.
Colleagues from Transcarpathia told MK about a second visit to the convent by a group of SBU officers. Most likely, the abbess will be issued an official warning about the inadmissibility of commemorating the Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus’ during prayer.
As for the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, the confrontation continues there. “We are defending the Holy Monastery for the fifth day,” parishioners write on the monastery’s website.
