Lipetsk taekwondo athletes won gold at the Don Cup. The Lipetsk Region Department of Physical Culture and Sports reported the victory of the Lipetsk region.
Pupils of the Sapsan sports club at the Regional Complex Sports School of Olympic Reserve won 7 medals at the All-Russian taekwondo competitions. In total, almost 1,200 athletes from 36 regions of Russia competed for victory.
Gold medals were brought to the team in their weight categories by Mikhail Korostelev and Egor Chukin, as well as Andrey Semenkov. Dmitry Popadin and Gleb Gorlan took silver. Yakov Potapov and Maria Voroshilina received bronze medals.
All-Russian taekwondo competitions WTF “Don Cup” among men and women, juniors and juniors (15-17 years old), boys and girls (12-14 years old) took place in Rostov-on-Don in late January.
Now Lipetsk taekwondo athletes are awaiting the Central Federal District Championship among juniors and junior women 15-17 years old, which will take place in Lipetsk on February 3.
