Lipetsk hand-to-hand fighters won medals at the All-Russian Vershina competition. The Lipetsk team received awards from athletes from the sports and patriotic club “Young Rescuer”.

Konstantin Lazar took silver in the weight category up to 80 kg among athletes 16-17 years old. Olga Bogoslovskaya also received a silver medal in the age group of 10-11 years in the weight category up to 42 kg. And Demid Semenyuk added bronze to his collection of awards in the weight category up to 32 kg among athletes 10-11 years old.

The All-Russian hand-to-hand combat competition “Vershina” took place in Kursk from January 25 to 29. More than 750 athletes from 37 regions of Russia, including the DPR, took part in them.

“Congratulations to the athletes, their parents and coach Pavel Nabatnikov! We wish you further success!” commented the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Lipetsk Region.
