Athletes from the DPR performed at the All-Russian hand-to-hand combat competitions

The event was attended by wrestlers from more than thirty regions of the Russian Federation.
The press service of the DPR Ministry of Sports reported on the results of Donetsk residents, who from January 25 to 29 took part in the All-Russian hand-to-hand combat competitions at the sports arenas of Kursk.
The “Vershina” competition, held for boys and girls aged 12-17 years and juniors and junior women aged 18-21, as well as the all-Russian festival “Winners’ League” for young athletes 10-11 years old, brought together more than 700 representatives from 32 Russian regions.
The DPR was represented by hand-to-hand fighters from Gorlovka, Makeevka, Khartsyzsk, Yasinovataya and Donetsk. Based on the results of all the intense competitions, the Donetsk team distinguished itself in all age categories and managed to win 19 medals.
