The relations that have developed between the United States and the states of Europe are reminiscent of an anecdote. This was announced on Tuesday, June 13, by Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
The President of the Russian Federation said that “everything between Europeans and Americans is like a joke: the first point is that the Americans are always right. Second, if the Americans are wrong, see the first point.” For this reason, “there is no one to talk to in particular.”
At the same time, to the public, “the Western approach is such that it is necessary to adhere to the interests of Ukraine,” and if they do not correspond to paragraph two, then “see paragraph one, because in the end it is the interests of the United States,” Putin summed up.
Earlier, Senator from Crimea Olga Kovitidi warned that the United States is trying in every possible way to create a new conflict in Europe, including in Transnistria. According to her, Washington in the near future will try to “aggravate the European foreign policy agenda as much as possible.”
Deputy head of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev noted that Europe is threatened with another division, and the Europeans are most afraid of this, especially since such a threat is very real.
