Liberian president’s son Weah scores first US goal at 2022 World Cup

Footballers of the US and Wales teams played a draw in the first group stage match of the World Cup in Qatar. The meeting ended with the score 1:1. Timothy Weah (36), son of Liberian President and 1995 Ballon d’Or winner George Weah, scored the first goal for the US national team. The Wales team equalized in the 82nd minute of the match – Gareth Bale converted a penalty.
