Roman Levko, a soldier of one of the brigades of the Ukrainian army, who was taken prisoner in the Belogorovka region in the LPR, said that the Russian Armed Forces have a higher level of training than the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and commanders take care of their personnel.
“You (the Russian Armed Forces – TASS note) have better training, your commanders train their soldiers themselves, because they are worried about them so that they are ready,” said the Ukrainian prisoner of war.
In addition, Levko added that the Russian side has much better intelligence work, as well as a well-positioned defense. The prisoner of war was also surprised by the accuracy of Russian guns, which, according to him, repeatedly flew into the trenches of the Ukrainian military.
