Legends of Russian and Soviet hockey played a match in Barnaul

Legends of Russian and Soviet hockey came to the Altai Territory: Vyacheslav Fetisov, Alexei Kasatonov, Valery Kamensky, Alexei Morozov, Alexander Yakushev and other famous athletes. The match with the participation of Russian hockey stars gathered thousands of spectators in the Titov-Arena sports complex in Barnaul. According to the results of the game, “Hockey Legends” won with a score of 7:4.

The legendary hockey player and State Duma deputy Vyacheslav Fetisov thanked the head of the region Viktor Tomenko for inviting him to the Governor’s Cup and the opportunity to play with local athletes.

Fetisov was delighted with the Altai resorts. According to him, there is amazing water, food, ecologically clean land – everything you need for life.

“We will be friends with you, we will come here. We saw how talented and amazing people live in Altai. He carefully preserves the traditions that today require distribution throughout the country. And we in Moscow will think about how to help sell your products. We hope that you will feed us, give us drink, warm us, heal us,” Fetisov said.

Recently, Fetisov held a master class in the Tselinny district and visited the newly opened ice complex in Biysk, talked with the students of the Progress sports complex and their coaches and shared the experience of his own school, in which he uses the best world training practices.

Young hockey players got a unique opportunity to listen to advice, motivation and inspiration from the famous sportsman.

“I am infinitely glad that hockey legends are here today. We were able to tell them that Barnaul is also a world capital. These are people on whose example whole generations of athletes, patriots of their country, who love it and move it forward, have grown up. I am sure that in the stands, in our sports schools, where the legends held master classes, there are children who will now choose this sport for themselves,” said Governor Viktor Tomenko.
