A young athlete from the Tumazinsky district, Ilnaz Davletov, who lost both hands in an accident, became a three-time winner of the All-Russian competition. He won “gold” at distances of 100, 400 and 200 meters among boys aged 12-13.
For the boy, these were the first competitions in the national team of the republic, his mother Zulfiya Davletova said.
In July 2021, Ilnaz received a severe electric burn on his hands when he reached into the transformer shield to get the ball. Doctors could not save the limbs of the hands. The child went through a long stage of recovery and did not lose his good spirits. He plays sports and leads an active lifestyle.
