Anna Shatilova very rarely appears in public, so each of her appearances is a holiday for television viewers who remember her from Soviet times. This time the announcer was spotted at a secular film premiere. I must say, this was one of the brightest guests in the cinema. Anna Nikolaevna looked amazing: a bright red outfit, a basket of flowers, a smile and a sparkle in her eyes. We, of course, hastened to find out how the TV presenter was doing, about whose life there is practically no information.

— I have a lot of work now. This afternoon I voiced a film about Moscow. Now I am having a celebration in honor of my friends – Svetlana Druzhinina and Anatoly Mukasey. She brought flowers to Svetlana Druzhinina. Tomorrow I am hosting a big concert as part of the Moscow Longevity program. The script hasn’t been sent yet today, but we need to be ready tomorrow. This will be an award for the best vocalists, dancers and so on. I also have to go to Vladimir, where celebrations will be held at the local philharmonic dedicated to my friend Andrei Dementyev. He would have turned 95 this summer. Plus my announcer work. But the main thing is my family and my two grandchildren – Vsevolod and Svyatoslav. I spend a lot of time on them.

– How are they doing now?

– They are studying. Seva has already graduated from the Construction University with honors. Now in my master’s degree, I started working the first week. And Svyatoslav is an artist. He graduated from art school, but after the 9th grade he went to college. Now such modern professions! He will be a digital artist, although he is a real artist, he paints portraits: a wonderful, talented guy. When I have time, I come to them outside the city, they also come for two days. This is the kind of hustle and bustle we live in. My mouth is full of trouble. I’ll go see them soon, because on Saturday morning one of them will already be there.

– Anna Nikolaevna, tell me the secret, where do you get so much energy?

– What kind of energy? I don’t sleep well because I’m worried about my SIDS. I can’t calm down. Therefore, my work and busyness, thank God, are very distracting. Well, when everything is in order in the family, everyone is also working, busy with business, then I feel calmer.
