Leadership is primary, matter is secondary

At the beginning of May 2023, in room 11 of the Zoological Museum of Moscow State University, a meeting of the sections of Nature Conservation, Problems of the Evolution of Matter and Natural Science Education of the MOIP was held, dedicated to discussing the results of the Congress on Globalistics, the 24th Ilyenkov Readings and the 22nd competition of literary creativity of schoolchildren “Earth. Nature. Motherland. Future”.

The historian of science and the organizer of the competition Sergey Bagotsky collected the manuscript of the book “Eaglets Learn to Fly” following the results of a literary competition for schoolchildren. It is impossible to publish it for a formal reason, it is necessary to obtain the consent of all the authors, and there are about a hundred of them. I suppose behind this lies the true reason that Bagotsky refutes the attitude about the low level of children and youth in Russia. The competition was held in three categories: fiction, poetry and journalism. Usually about a hundred schoolchildren participate, this year the site with information about the competition did not work and there were interruptions on the MOIP website. The number of participants dropped to seven dozen.

The author of the play about the school, Ilya Vygovsky, still shone with talent, and he published a journalistic article about the shortcomings of school education. Natalya Vakurova, head of the Department of Journalism at the ISI, with experience in teaching Russian language and literature at a school, read Ilya’s play and concluded that the work was professional. It describes the realities of not recent years, and it is unlikely that a teenager could write it. Bagotsky rejected doubts about authorship by referring to the fact that the goddess Lakshmi suggested formulas to the Indian mathematician Ramanujan. At the same time, Bagotsky believes that the publication of a critical essay about the school will quarrel between the MOIP and the Ministry of Education.

A noticeable amount of strong works entered the competition from the Donbass. Schoolgirl Bogdana Neshcheret went to the front in the battalion “Ghost” (call sign “Docha”). The deceased battalion commander Mozgovoy was a friend of the Bogdana family. She was not given a machine gun and was not allowed to go further than the kitchen, but this is also an important mission. Bogdana read poems “Donbass is on fire” at a rally-concert with the participation of Vladimir Putin on Red Square. Ukraine introduced Bogdana Neshcheret to the Peacemaker website for poetry.

One of the participants in the MOIP meeting spoke about the high level of school education in the Donbass compared to Russia, where this happens rarely, but in Donbass in large numbers. The information prompted Bagotsky to reminisce about the experience of working on the jury of the Olympiad for schoolchildren in the CIS, where children from Belarus won in biology.

Sergey Bagotsky spoke in detail about the most important event of the year called “VII International Scientific Congress “Global Studies-2023: Sustainable Development in the Context of Global Processes”, dedicated to the 160th anniversary of the birth of V.I. Vernadsky”. The first part of the Congress was held on April 17–21 at the site of the Faculty of Global Processes of Moscow State University and included nineteen sections that took place over nine days. The second final part of the Congress is scheduled for October 13-20, 2023. Bagotsky offered to apply for speeches, but did not arouse the characteristic thirst for publication in MOIP. The participants in the meeting preferred to bring their truth to the world on the spot without the laborious effort of arranging it into indexed articles and reports.

Bagotsky participated in the Congress with a report: “Alternative ways out of the civilizational crisis” at the section “The Future of Mankind”. According to Bagotsky, natural-science interdisciplinarity was present at the Congress. In what it consists, did not explain. The named topics of the sections have a pronounced humanitarian bias with a typical lack of evidence. Bagotsky argued that natural science presentations were also held at the Congress, in particular, on biology and water purification. The Congress did not touch upon the subject of evolutionary genetics. It can be assumed that globalists do not share my position of opinion on the need for knowledge in this science in their chosen direction.

The absence of conclusions reduces the value of the Congress, and the organizers have a problem with this.

The search for meaning in the content of global studies is reminiscent of an investigative experiment with exhumation to search for glimpses of what was breathing yesterday and will no longer come to life, it is easier to write again. The main question of philosophy about the primacy of matter or consciousness in the interpretation of Bagotsky receives the answer “Primary bosses.”

Bagotsky did not formulate what future he sees for humanity. His question about what Russia can give the world is articulated so fully that it is useless to fantasize about the answer. Bagotsky is categorically against making idols and smoking incense. Apparently, the third point of the neighborhood, the Vernadsky Museum, influences. It would seem that this name remained the last symbol of national unity. And the centrifugal processes predicted by the Strugatskys have long since come and gone, being replaced by centripetal processes relative to the strange attractor Lorentz who returned to Moscow.

However, Russian science, according to Secretary Kharlamov’s attitude, is obsessed with uncertainty. The unfinished work has become a symbol, ideal and meaning of life. It doesn’t matter who wrote the play and essay by Ilya Vygovsky. His works contain a relevant meaning about the outrages in education.

All three topics of the MOIP meeting are connected by common problems. They are determined by a system of prohibitions on access to school, improving the quality of education, publishing and selling high-quality patriotic and natural science literature, summarizing and promoting the achievements of domestic science, perpetuating scientists with a high contribution.

I believe that fellow scientists have no right to criticize the “bosses” without identifying the source of the problems and describing their nature. This is how we will bring Russia to the state of a tick-locked France, where we forced to raise the retirement age and pitted the population against the national authorities.

A person can confuse cause and effect unconsciously. If he does this publicly, it is almost impossible to identify whether he is a victim of propaganda or a deliberately sold copy.

According to the thesis of Yevgeny Primakov, now there is no clear division into whites and reds. On some issues, a person can demonstrate a sovereign position or form a provable conclusion for himself, which does not prevent him from being biased on other related issues. It would seem that scientists should be the first to understand the nature of the prevailing global power, the control of the distribution of resources and the prohibitions on satisfying the natural demands of the majority, including the demand for lifelong education. However, here people with high intelligence find themselves in the tail of history in the position of sutlers. They drag behind the convoy and eat handouts. In Russia, there are national reasons for this – anti-patriotism and the negative attitude of the Russian intelligentsia. They also serve as factors of evolution along with self-organization.

Science cannot overcome the prohibitions that domestic cynology or figure skating managed to overcome thanks to self-organization. The reason for the sustainable development of Russia is that its national authorities are forced to take into account the state of the population, despite its special patience.

The conclusion is unexpected even for me.

The historian of science Sergei Bagotsky should be thanked for his work and wish him independence from intellectual delusions. This scientist is not like everyone else, he knows how to listen and find provable formulations. There are many of them in Russia. Another Russian paradox.
