LDPR proposed to issue a certificate for 1 million rubles for the purchase of Russian cars

The Liberal Democratic Party has prepared a bill on a family certificate for the purchase of a car. Young families up to 30 years old after the birth of their first child will be able to take advantage of it. The amount of payments will be 1 million rubles, it will be possible to buy a car from the line of the Russian car industry, they said. “Izvestia” the authors of the initiative.
The draft law assumes that it will be possible to sell the purchased car only after five years. They decided to introduce this rule in order to exclude fraudulent schemes and marriages of convenience, the party specified. “This will be an effective additional measure to support young families, especially given that Russia today is in a demographic hole,” Yaroslav Nilov, deputy chairman of the LDPR faction, is convinced.
It is planned to submit the bill to the State Duma in the near future, the exact dates are not given. The Ministry of Finance told Izvestia that they had not yet received the document for consideration.
In Russia, there is a Family Car program, under which certain categories of citizens can take out a loan and receive a discount on the purchase of a car. The money is added to the down payment, the program applies to LADA, UAZ, GAZ, Haval Jolion and Evolute electric cars. In March, the Ministry of Industry and Trade adjusted the parameters of state support, and now the purchase of a car with an internal combustion engine on a soft loan is available only to medical workers, educators and participants in the military operation in Ukraine and their families. The discount on the payment of the down payment on the loan is 20% of the cost of the car, for residents of the Far Eastern Federal District – 25%.
