Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the European Union had banned Cypriot President Nikos Anastasiades from meeting with him. During his speech at the 77th session of the UN General Assembly, the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry pointed out that the meeting was scheduled, as in previous years.
