Foreign Minister Lavrov called the Kyiv authorities all recognized international beggars
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, during his speech at the forum “Euromaidan: Ukraine’s Lost Decade” at the Rossiya Segodnya media center, said that as a result of the West using Ukraine for its own purposes, it has turned into the poorest European state.
According to the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Western countries are using Ukraine to contain Russia in every sense. Lavrov clarified that now in the West they call it “inflicting a strategic defeat on Russia.”
Against this background, as the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry noted, Ukraine, which had the richest industrial potential in the Soviet Union, received from the Soviet Union, from the Russian Empire, has turned, probably, into the poorest state in Europe and a territory that, without exaggeration, is dying out. Lavrov added that the Kyiv authorities are already recognized by everyone as “international beggars.”
