Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced the imminent integration of the Russian Mir payment system and the Iranian Shetab.
According to him, negotiations are underway on this issue at the level of the Central Banks of the two countries.
“They talked in July and agreed on a kind of roadmap that will lead us to this result. I am sure that this will take place soon enough,” the minister said during talks with his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir Abdollahian.
