Laureates of State Prizes of the Russian Federation announced
The winners of the Russian State Prizes for 2022 in the fields of science and technology, literature and art, as well as for outstanding achievements in the humanitarian, human rights and charitable fields have been announced in Moscow.
Director Karen Shakhnazarov was awarded for outstanding achievements in the field of humanitarian work. Advisor to the President of Russia Vladimir Tolstoy noted his public position, courage and ability to express his points of view, as well as the fact that he preserved and raised the Mosfilm film concern to the world level.
The state award in the field of literature and art was received by a team of restorers from the Tretyakov Gallery. Andrei Golubeyko and Alexandra Orlovskaya were awarded for many years of fundamental work on the restoration of Ilya Repin’s painting “Ivan the Terrible and his son Ivan on November 16, 1581”.
The second laureate was the artistic director of the State Russian Folk Choir. M.E. Pyatnitsky Alexander Permyakov, who made a significant contribution to the preservation and development of the traditions of folk art.
Konstantin Ernst, Klim Shipenko and Yulia Peresild received an award for creating the feature film “Challenge”.
Earlier it became known that Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on awarding state prizes.
