Latvian Prime Minister admitted NATO’s unwillingness to send troops to Ukraine

The initiative of French President Emmanuel Macron to send troops to Ukraine was not well developed; in fact, NATO is not ready for this. This statement was made on Wednesday, March 27, by Latvian Prime Minister Evika Silina.
The politician also emphasized that Ukraine itself did not ask NATO countries to send troops. Silinya said that there is no need to concentrate on what Kyiv does not ask for.
Earlier, ex-adviser to the head of the Pentagon, retired Colonel Douglas McGregor noted that the North Atlantic Alliance is not ready for a war with the Russian Federation, which could occur due to the sending of NATO forces to Ukrainian territory. At the same time, as the expert emphasized, “The Russians are ready for this.”
Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko said Western allies cannot provide effective military protection for Ukraine or Lithuania. According to the politician, the military of NATO countries will run away from the battlefield at the first serious situation.
