The additional period of the unified state exam in 2022 passed as usual, without failures, according to the Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science.
Examinations in the Russian language and mathematics of the basic level in additional terms were held from 5 to 20 September. Those graduates who did not pass the state final certification in the main period and did not receive a certificate could take exams in the additional period.
Examinations were held in all regions of Russia, except for the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, and in educational organizations abroad. Approximately 13,000 people have applied for participation in the additional period of the Unified State Examination. For the USE, 430 examination points (PET), 7074 organizers were involved. Over 500 public observers monitored the progress of the exams.
For violations of the procedure for conducting the exam in the additional period, 40 people were removed from the exams, their results were canceled. Participants who failed to pass the state final certification will be able to retake the exams only for the next year.
In Russia, the USE serves as both a final exam at school and an entrance exam to a university. Obligatory for obtaining a certificate of graduation from a Russian school are the Unified State Examination in the Russian language and mathematics.
