“I am learning military songs with my granddaughter”
Larisa Dolina admitted that she was not going to leave Russia. The singer said: she is happy to live in Moscow.
– I always say without too much pathos: I am happy that I live in Russia, – says Larisa Alexandrovna. – After all, it is here that very persistent and courageous people live, who gave us victory in the Great Patriotic War at the cost of their own lives. The only thing that upsets me is that every year there are fewer and fewer veterans, they leave.
Larisa Alexandrovna knows firsthand about the war. Many of her relatives went to the front.
“My grandfather went missing during the war,” the artist sighs. I still can’t find where he is buried. I have been dealing with this issue for many years, looking for his grave. To be honest, I have lost faith that I will ever be able to do this.
The artist admits: she regularly tells her only granddaughter Sashenka about the exploits of her ancestors.
“Sashenka knows what the Great Patriotic War is,” shares the Valley. – We talk about it with her: both I and her mother, my daughter. And they study history at school. Recently Sasha sang a military song in a project where we are participating together. Honestly, I didn’t expect her to do so well. I will continue to learn war songs with her. I think this is very important.
