Larisa Dolina and Eteri Beriashvili sang a duet

On the TV channel “Russia-Culture” the shooting of new episodes of “Romance of the Romance” took place.

In addition to romances, both well-known and new ones, the program traditionally includes songs from films, cartoons, folk songs, and opera arias. Each issue is thematic and dedicated to a particular genre, artist or songwriter.

Our correspondent visited the shooting of one of the programs, the heroine of which was the famous Russian and Georgian singer, actress, composer and teacher Eteri Beriashvili. In addition, Eteri’s solo program included compositions performed by People’s Artist of Russia Larisa Dolina, Ekaterina Balykbaeva, Alexander Murashov and Ainar Zhiba, accompanied by the Symphony Orchestra of the Russian Ministry of Defense. Conductor – Sergey Durygin. The hosts are Ekaterina Guseva and Evgeny Kungurov.

Eteri Beriashvili has long been a regular participant in the Romance of Romance concerts with a diverse repertoire of compositions and in different languages.

“I really love musical experiments. I have an inner child, and I will keep it for many years, “ says Eteri Beriashvili.

Even at a young age, Eteri mastered a large number of musical instruments: piano, violin, guitar, bass guitar, percussion instruments. She studied at the Medical University named after I.M. Sechenov, but eventually devoted herself to music.

“A person who puts on a white coat must be fanatically devoted to his work, and I am fanatically devoted to music,” Eteri admitted.

Beriashvili began her concert with a Russian romance.

“The program “Romance of the Romance” obliges you to sing a romance. All my great compatriots considered it their duty to sing the Russian romance superbly, so I am the successor of this tradition, ” — explained the singer.

At one time, Eteri Beriashvili was a student of the People’s Artist Larisa Dolina. The mentor and student sang a romance together, which Eteri once sang at the exam with Larisa Alexandrovna.

“I am infinitely happy that you so easily agreed to perform with me on the same stage,” Eteri says.

“How can you not sing with such a brilliant singer?” Larisa Dolina answers.

Now Eteri has invited her student to the concert. With Ainar Zhiba, they performed the song “Prayer” in a duet. The program also featured Georgian and Italian songs, French chanson.

Yuliana Rogacheva, the vocal group Quartet PRO, Irina Klimova, the group TeAmo and others became guests of other editions of the Romance of Romance program.
