The structures of the Moscow Mayor’s Office announced nine competitions for the improvement of territories in two districts of Moscow. The most extensive work is planned on Profsoyuznaya Street, where a pedestrian route from Konkovo ​​to Tyoply Stan will be built. 1.5 thousand trees and 8 thousand bushes will be planted here, more than 300 benches will be installed and 74 km of curbs will be equipped. Streets will also be repaired in Northern and Southern Tushino, Mitino, Zyuzino, Yasenevo, Northern and Southern Butovo, spending about 5 billion rubles on these works.

Tenders for the “performance of work to bring the streets and territories into a standard state” were announced by the structures of the mayor’s office – the State Budgetary Institution “Highways of the Northwestern Administrative District” and the State Budgetary Institution “Highways of the Southwestern Administrative District”. The latter placed one of the largest contests – for 940 million rubles. It is about the improvement of Profsoyuznaya Street. Judging by the documentation, the authorities plan to equip a pedestrian route from the Konkovo ​​metro station to Tyoply Stan, connecting it with the square between Tyoply Stan and Tyulenev Street (it will also be repaired). It is planned to plant 1.5 thousand trees and about 8 thousand shrubs, lay out 74 km of borders and 168 thousand square meters. m of lawns, install 345 benches. Work should be carried out from April to August 2023, applications are accepted until April 10.

Repair for 698.6 million rubles. the city authorities are also planning the Konkovo ​​district – next to the pedestrian route. As follows from the tender documentation, the work will mainly take place on the streets of Academician Kapitsa, Miklukho-Maklay, Ostrovityanova and Profsoyuznaya: we are talking about repairing asphalt, replacing and laying new curbs, making gravel and crumb rubber pavement. Separately, the district “public spaces with pedestrian connections to the Konkovsky Ponds” will be repaired. The documentation mentions the laying of about 25 km of curbs, the device of 3.6 thousand square meters. m of rubber crumb coating, installation of 17 separate waste collection pavilions, 8 table tennis tables, planting of 40 trees and 400 shrubs. In the tender for the improvement of Kotlovka, Akademichesky and Lomonosovsky districts worth 945 million rubles. works are planned in the residential sector and the natural park in the valley of the Kotlovka and Korshunikha rivers. It is planned to lay out 104 km of curbs and repair more than 162 thousand square meters. m of asphalt, and in the park to plant 21 trees, 3.1 thousand shrubs and equip 6.6 thousand square meters. m lawns. The authorities also plan to repair streets and public spaces in Northern and Southern Tushino, Mitino, Zyuzino, Yasenevo, Northern and Southern Butovo. The total amount spent on nine tenders is over 5 billion rubles.

Judging by the public procurement website, in 2022 the authorities published 67 tenders to “bring to a normal state” streets and public spaces in the amount of about 43 billion rubles. The largest competitions were for the improvement of Leninsky Prospekt (over 6 billion rubles) and the repair of two dozen lanes in the Arbat and Khamovniki districts (2 billion rubles). In January 2023, the mayor’s office announced plans to renovate 19 public spaces and 14 streets in the center of Moscow, including Khrustalny Lane, as well as Vorobyovskaya Embankment and the South River Station. The improvement plans mentioned 74 parks and squares, including ponds-regulators in Maryino, repair of the park named after the 40th anniversary of the Komsomol and three sections of the floodplain of the Yauza River. In March 2023, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin spoke about plans to renovate Tsvetnoy Boulevard. Here, the pedestrian zone will be resurfaced and the benches will be replaced, while the main work will take place at the metro station and at the Nikulin Circus. In 2023, the authorities have already announced 32 landscaping competitions totaling RUB 16.5 billion.
