Laima Vaikule poured mud on monuments to Russian soldiers and received a harsh response

Natalya Shturm: “She has a confusion of thoughts, complete nonsense!”

Laima Vaikule excelled again. The singer said that she sees nothing wrong with the fact that monuments to the heroes-liberators are being demolished in the post-Soviet space. Vaikule said that these monuments are not needed.

– People who said about monuments that they want to go bow their heads in front of a monument to a soldier in order to remember their father … Go to the cemetery to your father in the country where he lives and bow your head. It’s just a monument. This is not a burial place. This is also incomprehensible to me, – said the Baltic singer.

Moreover, the artist categorically stated that in Latvia, near the monuments to the soldiers-liberators, lately, they allegedly “just drank”, leaving a dump behind.

Not without accusations against Russia. The singer said that our country, they say, privatized all the good things that were in the USSR.

Vaikule’s new statement caused a sharp reaction in show business. Singer Natalya Shturm, for example, believes: Vaikule does not understand what he is talking about.

“She has a confusion of thoughts,” Natalya told MK. – I have already said once and I will repeat, without offending anyone: “The singer should sing, and not express confused thoughts.” There is no causal relationship in Vaikule’s speech. Some bullshit! I don’t understand what she is talking about and what idea she wants to convey. Not because she doesn’t speak the language well. But because she has notes in her head. At the same time, it is noticeable that Vaikule is also embarrassed by what he says. Realizing that it brings some kind of blizzard.

– There was a stylish imported singer Laima Vaikule, with wonderful songs by Ilya Reznik and Raymond Pauls, – continues Natalia. – It was interesting to look at her: such an imposing variety show with an accent. What now? And here the point is not that she is not particularly strong in rhetoric. The feeling that she, as in a joke about a speaker on the podium: when she comes out, she does not know what she will say. And when she returns, she does not remember what she was talking about.
