Secretary of the Security Council of Kyrgyzstan Marat Imankulov issued a statement that the country does not plan to mobilize in connection with the conflict on the border with Tajikistan.
Imankulov said that to protect the borders, Kyrgyzstan is counting on the forces of its own military and does not need to involve the population for this purpose.
According to the Secretary of the Security Council of Kyrgyzstan, some citizens of the country expressed a desire to go to the border and get weapons.
“If there is such a need, we will ask them to come out to defend our homeland,” Imankulov said.
