Kyokushin karate competitions took place in Tula

Kyokushin karate competitions were held at the Tula Arena multifunctional center. About 400 athletes arrived from different parts of the central part of Russia, among whom were both children (10-11 years old) and honored veterans, world and European champions.
Deputy of the Tula Regional Duma Sergei Sudnitsyn was also present at the competition. He greeted the athletes on behalf of the chairman of the regional parliament, Nikolai Vorobyov.
Vorobyov’s welcoming address notes that the Tula region pays a lot of attention to the development of physical culture. The construction of sports facilities continues in the region, and competitions of various scales are also held.
“More and more people of different ages are joining an active lifestyle,” says Nikolai Vorobyov’s greeting.
The Chairman of the Tula Regional Duma noted that hosting the Kyokushin Karate Championship is a great honor for the city. Moreover, the fights of experienced athletes are distinguished by dynamism, beauty and entertainment, and participation in such competitions builds character and fosters team spirit.
Sergei Sudnitsyn added that the competition in the Tula Arena is dedicated to the fighters of the special military operation. The deputy emphasized that the whole country is proud of the military personnel and wishes them a speedy victory.
