Bryansk athletes brought four medals from Sochi

Bryansk athletes successfully performed in the program of the third stage of the Russian Polyathlon Cup. Eventing and running competitions took place in Sochi. Representatives of different Russian regions took part in the tournament. The Bryansk region was represented by the Karachevsk sports school.
Four awards were added to the region’s collection at once. The team earned a gold medal in the team competition among sports clubs. In addition, in serious competition, Maxim and Victoria Podtykailov won silver.
At the same time, the Bryansk team came second in the team competition among Russian subjects, losing the leading position to athletes from Moscow. This was reported in the regional department of physical education and sports.
