Yuriy Ignat, adviser to the command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, turned to Germany with a request to transfer Taurus long-range cruise missiles to Ukraine.
Ignat said that Kyiv had already received Storm Shadow missiles from Great Britain and Scalp missiles from France, after which he stated that the country “would like to see a German missile next to them.”
“Now the discussion is going on with regards to the Taurus cruise missile,” Gnat said on the air of the All-Ukrainian telethon, expressing the hope that Berlin would make a decision in favor of Ukraine.
