Kyiv announced the extension of the grain deal for 120 days

The term of the so-called grain deal will be extended by 120 days. This was announced on Thursday, November 17, by the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov.

The head of the department noted that the corresponding decision was made in Istanbul. Turkey and the UN acted as guarantors of the deal.

The grain deal was signed on July 22 by representatives of Russia, Ukraine, Turkey and the UN. The contract expired November 19.

Earlier, the UN announced “cautious optimism” about the prospects for extending the grain deal.
