Kursk student became champion of the All-Russian Kyokushin competition

As part of the All-Russian Kyokushinkai competition, a student from Kursk Southwestern University distinguished himself and became a champion.
The event took place in Samara. Over 500 athletes from 20 regions of the Russian Federation took part in the competition, the press service of the Kursk City Hall reported.
The competitions were held in four disciplines – kumite, tameshiwari, kata, kata group. One of the winners was SWSU student Ilya Shatunov.
The Kursk athlete was out of competition in the weight category up to 90 kilograms and won.
