Young foil fencer Daniil Kravtsov represented the Kursk region at the All-Russian fencing tournament, which took place in the city of Odintsovo in the Moscow region. Competition in memory of E.N. Volodina were conducted for participants under the age of 23 years.
According to the regional Ministry of Sports, Kravtsov successfully won every match in the group, as well as in the direct elimination round.
“In the semi-finals, the Kursk foil player defeated his Nizhny Novgorod namesake Daniil Kerik in a stubborn battle – 15:13, and in the decisive match he achieved a convincing victory over St. Petersburg Kirill Tikhonov – 15:4,” the department explained.
The regional Ministry of Sports congratulates the Kursk resident and his coach on this important victory.
