Kursk conscripts were forbidden to leave the region

At a briefing on partial mobilization, Vladimir Rodionov, chief military commissar of the Kursk region, said that from 9:00 today, September 21, residents of the region who are registered with the military registration and enlistment office and who are in reserve are forbidden to leave the region without the permission of the military commissariat.
Mr. Rodionov clarified that those who are now outside the Kursk region and are subject to mobilization must return within three days or be registered at the place of stay. Chairman of the Regional Security Committee Mikhail Gorbunov said that the mobilization will partially affect those who have served in the army, have a military specialty and combat experience. Among the most needed specialists, the official named artillerymen, tank crews, and motorized riflemen.
The chief military commissar of the Kursk region noted that 1,000 people left the region to participate in a special military operation on the territory of Ukraine: 800 people under a contract and 200 volunteers. In the near future, about 600 people will go for training during a two-week training camp at military educational institutions. The autumn conscription campaign starts on October 1 – about 1 thousand people will be listed in the assignment of the military commissariat.
Partial mobilization was announced in Russia today, 21 September. According to the authorities, it will affect about 1% of Russia’s total mobilization resource, and 300,000 reservists will be sent to the combat zone.
