Kurban Berdyev appointed head coach of FC Sochi

Football club “Sochi” announced on the appointment of Kurban Berdyev as head coach. Mr. Berdyev will take up his duties from the beginning of 2023. The term of the contract was not disclosed.
After 17 games in the Russian Premier League this season, Sochi is in ninth place with 25 points. The post of head coach of the club was occupied by Alexander Tochilin, but, as RIA Novosti notes, in fact, the team was led by head coach Vadim Garanin.
The last club in the career of Kurban Berdyev is the Iranian Traktor. He left the team on 24 November. Previously, the 70-year-old specialist twice won the Russian Championship with Rubin Kazan and took second place with Rostov.
