KubSU football players did not miss a single goal at the tournament in Essentuki

The football team of Kuban State University completed its performance at the NSFL mini-tournament in Essentuki. Competitions within the Igor Gamula Super League took place from October 10 to 12.
In the first game, Krasnodar confidently outplayed rivals from DSTU with a score of 2:0. In the second game against the Chechen State University, KubSU lost points for the first time this season. The game ended in a goalless draw – 0:0.
In the final game, the tournament leader defeated the Moscow university RUS “GTSOLIFK” with a score of 1:0. The only goal of the match was scored in the 28th minute by Ousmane Ajibona. In the second half, 2 minutes before the end, Krasnodar defender Ilya Gorbashev received a red card, but the team kept its goal intact. During the entire tournament in Essentuki, KubSU did not miss a single goal.
Alexey Gerasimenko’s team scored 7 points out of a possible 9 in the round. In the overall standings of the strongest division of the National Student Football League, KubSU takes first place, scoring 25 tournament points in 9 games. DSTU is in second position with 16 points. In third place is the winner of the last three NSFL drawings, Crimean Federal University. The team from Simferopol has 13 points, but has played only 6 matches so far.
KubSU will hold the final round from October 31 to November 2. The rivals of the Krasnodar team will be the teams of ChSU, KFU and SPbGUPTD (St. Petersburg).
Earlier this summer, the KubSU football team won at the international tournament Russia – Africa.
