Kuban athletes brought 7 medals from international competitions

In Moscow, at the arena of the National Research University MGSU, the international athletics tournament “Russian Winter” took place. According to the results of the competition, athletes from the Krasnodar region won 7 medals.
The competitions were held in 8 disciplines. Over 140 athletes from Russia and Belarus came to participate. Krasnodar region was represented at the tournament by 9 people. According to the results of the “Russian Winter”, the Kuban team won 7 medals: 2 gold, 2 silver, 3 bronze.
Athletics is one of the most popular sports in the region. More than 105.5 thousand people are engaged in it. Kuban athletes regularly show excellent results at competitions at various levels – in 2023, athletes won 105 medals. In addition, every year over 80 athletes from the Krasnodar region are part of the national team.
