Ksenia Sobchak was “swindled” out of a quarter of a million in a private clinic: “Ostap Bender is resting”

Now that flu, colds and COVID-19 continue to put people in hospital beds in batches, many Russians, including famous personalities, are looking for ways to protect themselves from these dangerous diseases. However, not all methods are effective. For example, journalist Ksenia Sobchak was personally convinced of this.

In her Telegram channel, she told subscribers that she had become a victim of fraud and was forced to pay a large sum for an essentially useless procedure. Sobchak complained that even Ostap Bender should learn from modern “great schemers.”

She said that a few weeks ago she noticed the first signs of a cold and rushed to a private clinic for examination. She was immediately offered two IVs, and after the procedures they presented her with a bill. It turned out that each of them cost 129,820 rubles, for a total of 259,640 rubles. Sobchak was shocked to learn about such a high price, which, of course, she was not informed about in advance.

“A dropper for 260 thousand? Is it serious? Maybe it was made of gold? No. It turns out that it was a matter of monoclonal antibodies. Now this drug is my personal enemy,” Sobchak said with offense.

Ksenia noted that she eventually recovered from the disease, but believes that this was not due to the effect of the procedure, but rather because of the attack of greed that the star experienced because of the money spent.

“Of course, life is bad without a sucker, but when the sucker is you, then for some reason you feel uneasy,” the journalist laments.

The substance that was used in the IVs turned out to be useless in her case and only created the illusion of treatment, Sobchak claims.

“In general, it’s almost like sweet water. If they offer it, don’t be fooled. A quarter of a million on the farm is not superfluous,” Sobchak concluded.
