Kravtsov urged teachers of the Kherson region to leave the region

The head of the Russian Ministry of Education, Sergei Kravtsov, called on teachers in the Kherson region to move out of the region, the ministry’s press service said on Sunday.
“It is important to save your lives, it is important that you can continue to educate schoolchildren and children,” Kravtsov told teachers in a video message.
The minister recommended that they move to the left bank of the Dnieper, to the Crimea or to the territory of the Krasnodar Territory.
Kravtsov also added that teachers should show by example to children and their parents that moving is a forced step that needs to be taken.
All conditions for the placement of teachers will be provided, the minister assured.
On Saturday, the authorities of the Kherson region asked the residents of Kherson to “immediately” leave the right bank of the Dnieper due to the tense situation at the front, the increased danger of massive shelling of the city, and the threat of terrorist attacks.
On Sunday, as a result of a terrorist attack in Khkerson, one person was killed and three were injured. An improvised explosive device tied to a pole went off on a city street. A bystander died. In addition to people, a car parked nearby was injured, windows in houses were shattered by the blast wave.
